Apples Part 3

Since 2015 we have been hoping for a decent crop of apples.

Last year we wound up with two small ones by the end of the season – and that was only just less than half the crop . . .

This year . . . ?    Keep your fingers crossed, this is just one bunch.  The earlier wet weather certainly spurred on the apples, pears and plumbs and all three trees are festooned with fruit.

The heat has pushed them all on further, but whether or not they will make it to ripeness rather than drying out or getting wrecked by wasps remains to be seen.
