Oriental Lilies

They come every year, they are in a tub and each spring I just put  a bit more compost in, feed them, and every year I get a spectacular display.

I was going to have a quiet day today as I had a bad night with a really gripy tummy but hot water and a hot wheat bag helped (even if it was a bit warm) and today after dog walking I ended up doing lots of washing (bedding) and cleaning the lounge and conservatory, mind you its better than going out in that sun it was another hottie.

Next door had two skips on their garden, one behind the other, different companies, and the chap came to collect one today and it was the one at the back which he had no chance of getting without moving the other first, well after a long phone call, probably with his boss he started moving them about. The other companies had to be loaded on his truck and moved to another part of the street and put down, then he took their own with a lot of trouble because it was in an awkward spot. and he then had to put that down and go back and pick up the other companies and put it back then go and get their own, It was like watching a kid paying with his trucks only on a larger scale.

A little rant.  Then the guy working next door started cutting concrete again (yesterday was really bad with the drive being dug up and him cutting concrete to put in electrics to the garage, dust everywhare) and making more dust, I only wiped all the sills down last night the plants were all dusty too I had to hose them down they were so bad and the windows are filthy with dust . Paula moved her car out of the way  or it would have been covered in dust again.

Never mind eventually things will settle down and it will not be so dusty, there will be a drive to lay and and  garage to build next which shouldn't be so bad.
