Snails

Tiny Snails, six of them on a small piece of wood. I spotted them while feeding the birds this morning. Went inside, got my camera and my macro lens, went outside, defogged the lens and was finally ready to make their portrait. By that time they had mostly come out of their shells and began to move around. A Fast Shutter was definitely not needed! Afterwards I thanked them for their patience, asked them not to eat too many plants and placed them back where I found them. Gotta say...I'm not a big fan of snails! But I thought these guys were kind of 'cute'. :)
