Unidentified Dragon

Spotted on our pond when I briefly wandered down there, and just one lucky photo, before my camera decided that it absolutely was NOT going to focus on the dragonfly, but on the pond growth behind.

I'm afraid I cannot identify the species on the basis of this one photo.

It's another scorching hot day, so I've done no work in the garden this morning, but instead have sat inside working on the latest project.  But there's quite a nice breeze, making sitting in the shade of our sail quite pleasant whilst eating a late lunch, prior to working this evening.  We've had an amber warning for thunderstorms, but there's no sign at present - the sky is cloudless.
