The west at its best

We drove to Port Appin this morning to see the exhibition of the local art group in the village hall - some really lovely stuff there. There was only one painting that I thought I could hang on the wall - it was very small and very cheap and very sold! Probably just as well!

I walked down the lane at Portnacroish to see if I could photograph Castle Stalker with a background of wonderful clouds and fortunately everything was in the right position - makes a change.

We had a picnic lunch sitting in the local churchyard in the sun. It would have been too hot to sit there had it not been for a lovely breeze! Mrs M can just be seen between the gravestones! This is my extra today.
