Buzzwig van Bee-thoven

This bee sits outside the Bridgewater Hall, in Barbirolli Square. The sponsor of this bee sculpture is AEW, big real estate managers who occupy offices fronting the square.

I was on my way to a meeting when I took this photo. The extra is the view from Canada House. I like the juxtaposition of the Beetham Tower, three new towers under construction, a big red brick Victorian building - and the rows of panties on the Peverill of the Peak’s washing line.
