Popular Pond

... or, more accurately, puddle! Today it was rife with robins - adults, juveniles just beginning to gain their red feathers, and younger juveniles in their still-spotty youth. They were joined by dunnocks, blue tits and a female black cap (with her brown cap). All were in the depleted pond at once, looking for a drink.

This was before IT RAINED. Well, when I say it rained: it drizzled lightly, followed by a short rain shower. And that was it. But it's remained cloudy - sufficiently so that I doubt we shall see the moon's eclipse tonight.
