Under construction

Waiting for our daughter's afternoon train to arrive at Totnes station gave us the chance to have a look at the new footbridge under construction, which will incorporate wheelchair lifts. (You can see the old bridge with its solid grey metal walls to the right of the picture.)

Home for a cup of tea and slice of homemade cake, and then daur and I headed straight for the beach and an early evening swim. It was so refreshing - and so lovely for me to have my swim-buddy's company. Mr PP acted as chauffeur and chef, so he ferried us home to a fine repast. What a lovely start to her visit!
