Weather-vane

A really hot night as our last night in Derbyshire, Bailey took a long time to settle but there was only one flash of lightning and no rain to reduce the temperature. Having said that, it was a bit cooler by the time we were packing up in the morning and heading back to Lincoln. Not too many hold ups on the way home and we were back in time to do a supermarket shop for lunch. Lincoln was considerably warmer than Derbyshire and it's been quite unbearable this afternoon until it finally broke with thunder, lightning and a downpour. Bailey decided that he'd like to experience it first-hand at one point and came back in looking like this. Him and me both.

Not much else done today apart from unpacking and writing an email to the holiday company about our accommodation. We've had a good week but there have been some annoyances about where we were staying which couldn't go uncommented on. We shall see what the response is.
