Putting it into practice

The last day of our holibobs and we went into Bakewell for a bit of a wander. A couple of purchases made before we headed back via a recommended pub in Great Longstone. Lovely food and a good welcome at the White Lion meant that it lived up to its recommendation. 

Back to the cottage for the afternoon before Dad, Bailey and I headed back out to one of the locations we missed out on yesterday, Peter's Stone. A really interesting rock formation with a grisly past as a gibbet. The light was ever-changing but the advice to visit at around 6:30 proved to be right and I managed to get some shots even with Bailey in tow. He was generally attached to the toe of my boot and not the tripod.
