You know it's the summer holidays when..

.. there is time to cook dinner to an actual recipe. I finally got around to cooking something from a (fairly) recent purchase with time and inclination coinciding with a drop in temperature which made cooking and eating hot food not too nightmarish. It is still quite muggy but Bailey and I have just sat in the garden in the rain for a few minutes so I am hopeful that it will break properly this evening. 

A bit more of a productive day than the last few with bathroom cleaning, general tidying and sorting and even a bit of ironing - although not the entire pile. Bailey has had a couple of walks and both of us had a lengthy afternoon nap. I think we could definitely be said to be in holiday mode.
