Winter On The Farm

After breakfast had moved into morning tea and we were still at the dinning table it was time to do something.  Three of us rode in the farm buggy to feed corn to the pheasants.  The tracks are very steep and I was holding on tightly and didn't use the camera.  I saw Elk/Wapiti Deer, Fallow Deer, pheasants, goats, one and two year old heifers.  Our friend feeds the pheasants and traps stoats and wild cats to give them a chance to survive.  There are several ponds on the farm and he plants around them to give shelter to the ducks and make them look nice.  This struck me as looking like the end of winter before the grass turns green again.
We are having wide ranging conversations and enjoying each others company.
