Dust storm

It's been quite a day.

It started with a visit to the hairdresser, then Festival City to be out of the flat, then home to meet up with Patrick who brought back G's laptop which has had Windows 10 reinstalled by him and it works tons better! He needed to get over to the other side of town for a meeting, so as it is so hot and he was on public transport, we decided to drop him and his wife off.

As we were near a placed we'd booked to have dinner tomorrow, we just went ahead to the restaurant and had it today! The Sheraton gave us a voucher for 50% off the entire bill, so this was G's end of school year meal. They had a group of musicians who took requests for Indian songs, so I asked for a few that I remembered from my childhood. It was great hearing them again and they enjoyed performing them too - after ages!

My blip is of the dust storm which has raged today. It's been overcast, but extremely hot. G took it as we drove home.
