Glazed over....

Another good day in the studio....i'm actually a bit further ahead than i thought i would be at this stage!

As i was mixing the bucket of glaze - this is what it looks like before i hit it with the electric mixer - it looked so rich and creamy and had such a beautiful texture. So when i began mixing the 2nd bucket, i grabbed the camera! took this shot really just to get some idea of exposure...and to focus it! The auto focus didn't like focusing on such a whirling mass of liquid...and i could only use one hand on the camera and one on the mixer! so, the upshot was ....... i got glaze smattered all over the lens of my camera....note to self: cameras and glazes aren't a good mix!

It all cleaned up well in the end...but the creamy, silky stuff just didn't excite me as much as this shot!

Dinner is on.....mmmm....omelette!
