Tomatoes

This is about the earliest we've had tomatoes. They love the heat. I don't think I've had as good a crop as this for years, especially as I've found these big ones can often be a bit unpredictable. They're great for cooking though. We should be making pasta sauce with these in about a week's time, so I hope the flavour is good. It should be ok as these were from last year's leftover seeds and I seem to recall that they tasted fine then.
