En pointe

So Carys had a one to one lesson with ABA director, Emma Northmore. Emma was really pleased with Carys, said she couldn't believe the improvement Carys had made in one term and that she could be the poster girl for this system of ballet training! She also surprised both of us by suggesting that C get her pointe shoes in time for her next 121 class! How excited was Carys?!

So after a trip to the physio we headed back to Freed where she was fitted for her first pointe shoes. She tried about one hundred and eleventy twelve pairs on, had three assistants discussing which shoes were best and how lovely her feet were and finally ended up with these beauties. (C PRO L in a 5.5 XX fish)

Now I just have to sew on the ribbons and keep her off them until the next lesson.
