Life in Newburgh on Ythan

Playing with pebbles

We have quite a few old Inuit carvings and I have long wanted a miniature Inukshuk* to add to the collection. So, today I made one with stones from the beach. The fabric of time and space has been somewhat distorted to present it in a suitable setting.

* a structure of rough stones stacked in the form of a human figure, traditionally used by Inuit people as a landmark or a commemorative sign.
