Inevitably..

..  (and as predicted) it did all end in tears..

however, no serious harm was done and overall a lovely day was had by all.

No.2 son had a Very Busy day trying to dig up all the stones underneath the beach.  And after some initial concern the minions hammer game Thing (which had been thought to have been removed) turned out to only have been relocated to the second amusement arcade 50 yards away.. phew :-D
