Far from the Madding Crowd

Sun and shade with a welcome breeze keeping the temperature bearable.

We had decided to walk a small section of the Cleveland Way which we can access quite readily from here.   We drove down to the coast (approx 1.5 miles) as it is too far for Holly to do there and back.

Had a lovely couple of hours walking the coastal path towards Scarborough.   Away from the bustle of the main resort.    We stopped here (pictured) for our lunch.   A wonderful view.  

However, someone has donated a new seat in memory of her late husband so a more comfortable lunch stop.   But I liked the rustic nature of the old one.
