A Super Sipper on a Butterfly Afternoon

The forecast said it might rain all day, but in mid-afternoon, it got quite sunny. I was headed to a meeting downtown, but I took a side trip through the alumni gardens. Two monarch butterflies were chasing each other through the pretty blooms, and I was fortunate to capture some photos. I enjoyed the hot proboscis action on this one. Look at that curly little super sipper!
