Pavement shrapnel

Mr hazelh bagged up some of the pavement shrapnel that we have collected over the years to take it to the bank. He deposited £18. This wasn't the total: I held back a lot of the silver coins for my bus fare jar in the house, and my equivalent tin at work.

I've been reviewing work today: a journal article manuscript by a couple of my colleagues, and a thesis chapter for one of my research students. I have also prepared a wee speech for a colleague who is leaving us tomorrow.

Tonight Mr hazelh and I are off to the theatre to see our first show of the Festival (proper): Midsummer.

Exercise today: walking to the theatre and back (9620 steps).
