Crocosmia Citronella

Not one of Harry Potter's teachers but the plant we bought in the National Trust shop at Lydford Gorge last week, which is beginning to blossom now.

I was delighted to still be able to swing the golf club with no difficulty again this morning. Sadly, it didn't lead to any improvement in my score; it just meant I was able to hit the ball in all the wrong places more quickly :)

Baked some bread this afternoon then cut the lawn for the first time in weeks. There wasn't really any grass to cut but it did take off the long stems of seed heads and hoover up the leaves that are already falling from the apple tree.
