I talked the Mr into going for a hike with me and Salem today. We went back up to the Baker-Snoqualmie NF to hike out to a couple of lakes. As you can see in the photo, the weather was misty today, for a nice change. This is the farthest of the lakes we walked to and since we'd never been there before, we had no idea how big it actually is/was. The person camping on the point has an amazing spot and will be able to enjoy the solitude (but for the millions of mosquitoes!). 

On the way back to town, we stopped in at a burger shack in Concrete, WA (so named for the business that brought all the people there originally).  Had a pretty good burger (anything would have been good given how hungry we were). The Mr had a malt shake.

Salem's fur was black half way up her legs and the first thing I did upon arriving home was to put her in the big laundry sink and wash her down. I'm next.
