Too Hot!

This was our last full day in Fort Collins.

There were plenty of things we could have done, but after a pleasant light breakfast at The Little Bird Bakeshop, a quick stop at the food co-op for a few bits and pieces to tide us over, and a delightful hour at the Carnegie Center for Creativity, home to “public gallery, performance, and studio spaces that are available to rent for exhibition, performance, teaching, and event purposes,” we scuttled back to our Airbnb and hid from the heat.

Tomorrow morning we take the Green Ride shuttle to a hotel near Denver Airport, where we’ll connect with our Road Scholar tour group.

I took today’s blip in “Jazz Alley” downtown this morning. As you can see in the lower right side of the photo, I was taking no chances with the already strong sunshine...
