A stonking evening!

Life in the fast lane continues so aplogies for being a poor blipper at the mo.

A very dank damp and sweaty day - mainly spent slaving over forms applying for an irish teaching pension. Not straightforward.
But then a truly amazing concert in a church in Skibbereen - the fabulous Lunasa with special guest Natalie Merchant. A stonking evening! The lads can't half play and Natalie, who I didn't really know, had the most wonderful voice and oodles of charisma. I only took one sneaky photo as it didn't seem right but it's not too bad. A good article about her in our local paper - scroll down to see a video of her playing with Lunasa.

Shaaamie went to see her the other day too.

It continues - out again tonight, this time to see The Memory Orchestra complete with Celtic carynx, horns used in battle! It's going to be rather cosy in that church!
