Seed heads

The alliums are just dried-up seed heads now, but they stay looking interesting, although this year they've started falling over much earlier than usual. Given their lack of colour they often seem to invite monochrome photos, which I haven't blipped any of for a while now.

Early morning watering as usual today - it's now too hot for anything else, other than keeping out of the sun, reading and catching up on sleep debt...
