Countdown .... 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 ....

L and I were at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome this morning watching some of the qualifying cycle races.

We saw the 1000m Time Trial Men, Sprint Women and the 3000m Individual Pursuit Women. The photo is of Eleanor Dickinson on her count down to her 3000m qualifying.

Unfortunately Katie Archibald started on the back straight and every time she cycled past she was just too fast to photograph but exciting to watch.
