The Old Forge (Friday 3rd August 2018)

Apart from watering there isn't a huge amount of work needed in the garden at present, so Gardening Friday turned into Painting Friday, with Refna turning her talents to doing the fiddly bits on the outbuilding wall and helping me cover the rest. It took both morning and afternoon to reach this stage as the rendering soaked up the paint, so next week will be more of the same. When the whole building is white, second coats will be added, with this wall possibly being painted terracotta, and maybe a sky blue for the side facing the driveway.
