In Hexham tonight

At the end of October this shop window was decorated with a gruesome display of a severed head and limbs for Halloween. The Christmas display is more tasteful, that is if we have to have Christmas displays so soon.

I had my little point and shoot with me and used it without flash but with the ISO cranked up to 1600. The result was a lot of colour noise all over the image. I desaturated it, then reintroduced some colour using a layer in Photoshop.

At home today. Various friends are not well, including raej who feels like a friend because I have been following her on Blip.

Planning to get out and do a long walk tomorrow prior to my day trip to Edinburgh on Thursday.
