Lots of Happy Smiley Faces

A lovely few hours this afternoon at Humber Street Sesh an annual art and music festival in Hull. No official photographer pass this year as it was a last minute decision to go as we had expected to be going to see Dad in hospital.

HSS had a really good arty vibe and there were lots of happy smiley faces, especially the volunteers and Happy Eric here who was having a ball. It was all about the bands, singers, street artists, market stalls, beer tents, glitter and some rather random performance art displays.

Dad was released yesterday as an outpatient with a sack full of antibiotics. As he still will need regular checkups for the next 4 weeks, he’ll be staying with my brother. He is much happier and pleased to be able to be up and about and gradually get fitter and stronger..although I don’t think he’ll be making use of his gym membership just yet.

In the evening we went to see Ocean’s 8. Really loved, just what you expected from this kind of film and best of all the closing sequence was to a Holy Moly and The Crackers song.
