This old Chevvy, complete with rust ...

... and 'road-kill', had possibly made the journey from Manchester to Harrogate Stray, as part of the Historic Commercial Vehicle Society 50th annual Trans-Pennine Run.

A fine assortment of very well-preserved old, and relatively new, vehicles attended, including a handful of those that had attended the original rally 50 years ago.

The event inevitably attracted an eclectic assortment of visitors, many with cameras and quite a few who dressed up to be seen for the occasion (see my extra).
