Besides the usual 'return from holiday' tasks of shopping and unpacking, I had the job of returning my Panasonic TZ90 compact camera because it stopped working on the last day of our holiday.

The camera only returned from repair the day before we went away (in the last week of warranty!) and performed OK. Then a very similar fault occurred where switching on set the lens zooming out and straight back in, every time the button was depressed. I hope they manage to mend it this time - but I'm not too confident.
