Big and Brash

Today was the 2018 Hebden Bridge Vintage Weekend - cars, cars, cars (and a few motorcycles).  It was a glorious day - dare I say too hot?  See extra.
I love just about all cars, but I do have a soft spot for some of the big and brash American creations of the 50s & 60s.  This is a1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz - absolute top of the Cadillac range.  A wonderful colour - Persian Sand!  Given that Persia is now Iran, one can only wonder whether any American motor manufacturer would be allowed such nomenclature in today's world.
