For a change.

I decided to do a wee bit more than the Birds' bistro. So, first I went to Cocklakes for a brew. I'm not sure I've been there, alone, since Alice.
Had the brew and a wee wander. Endedup with a ginormous Sausage roll for lunch and a nice sized slice of fillet steak for tomorrow's dinner. It'll go nicely with the cabbage and Runner beans I found on the back doorstep after pursuing a few ZzZzZz!
After said brew i decided to "tak the high road" back to the bistro, pausing now & then to see what I could see.
In the middle of the pic. is cocklakes; and if it wasn't for that wee peep you'd never guess the A66 runs almost parallel to the road I'm on and twixt me & Cocklakes. A view of Blencathra I'm not sure i'v essen too.
