Harper's Ferry

The Pasni was great. I look forward to sending more pictures to the family.

This afternoon I went hiking again and again did not bring my dog out of concern that it would be too much for him. It might have been, it was steep. It was described by the signs as moderate. Ha! 

But it was confidence building and it led to a lovely view of Harper's Ferry and the company of lots of young people hanging out. 

I tried out a new ball head. I'm so happy. I've had trouble locking the ball heads tightly enough to keep them from moving when I let go. This time the camera stayed where I put it. 

I look forward to the other route, which is longer and tougher.
