Abandoned, ignored, rotting

This pigeon has been by the side of the road for about a week now and is gradually becoming more and more rotten and torn.

There isn't a waste bin nearby and when I mentioned it to a shopkeeper a few strides away the response was 'Nothing to do with me. I didn't put it there'.

It's really coming to something when all I can think of for a blip is a dead bird.

I think it's time to leave.
