Singing with Pride at Bletchley Park

The Sing with Pride choir performed tonight at Bletchley Park, home of the code breakers in WWII at the national pre-launch of LGBT HIstory Month which takes place in February 2013.

Bletchley Park is where master code-breaker Alan Turing was based. Sadly, Turing committed suicide after being persecuted because of his homosexuality.

Here's our set list:

Yonder Come Day
Woyaya
Somewhere Over the Rainbow
Two coming out stories which had been specially arranged for us:
Grandma Says
Bisexual
Something Inside So Strong
Mathematics (to the tune of 'That's Entertainment') as the theme of the 2013 LGBT History Month is science, engineering and mathematics

We went down a storm, and a brilliant time was had by everyone. Our performance outfits were plain black, with each of us wearing one splash of rainbow colour each mainly in the form of a chiffon scarf although one of the guys in the bass section chose to wear two pink carnations which looked fab.

This pic is one of the scarves, with an LGBT History Month badge attached. A full set of the pics I took can be seen here.
