A Big One

It was my birthday today. Tom and Julia arrived for a week with baby Ophelia. Because of baby we decided to eat in. I was expecting a seafood platter but to my amazement a massive langouste arrived, fully dressed and prepared. For those of a veggie disposition look away now... 

...the extra shows the monster, all ready for the table. I have never eaten one before and it was fantastic. Far more delicate than a lobster in my opinion. Something for special occasions.

What a brilliant day. Swimming in the morning and playing with baby in the afternoon. Rounded off with dinner and pink champagne. Totally fabacious.
