Stairs

These stairs down from the tower to the second church were probably for the private use of the Abbot. They must have been built as part of the second church phase, probably in the 2nd quarter of the 15th century.
I love the red sandstone that they used in places, but I don't know where it came from. Any guesses at a source in Fife?
