Knitting and pruning

This morning I went for a walk in Ellesmere and there had been some yarn bombing in the area by the car park. One of the trees with it's knitted coat was being pruned by a tree surgeon. The ice cream cone is another piece of yarn bombing in case anyone has concerns that it will melt before he gets chance to eat it.

I had a great time at the session last night. Around 1.00 am when I was almost home I spotted a barn owl in the middle of the road. I flashed the car coming the other way and luckily the driver saw it and slowed right down. I turned the car round to check that it wasn't injured but it had gone which was the best outcome.
