Next stage....

Finally....boy it seems almost impossible to get to the easel these past few days....lots of visitors, all very lovely and such a treat, but i was happy to spend the past couple of hours painting!   Not sure it is finished but i'm feeling like it is heading in the right direction, i just need to step away for the evening and come back to it tomorrow with fresh eyes.

for those folks like technical info:  20" x 28" rosapina paper, layers and layers of paint, gesso, ink etc., and finally soft pastels on top, loving this process....i feel like i'm digging beneath the surface, adding on top and watching the textures develop, it is my favorite thing right now!
