A 20 year dream.

We came here on our honeymoon 20 years ago tomorrow. This was the first time I had ever turned round from a mountain because I had felt incapable. I privately felt a failure in front of my new wife. We are attempting the ascent tomorrow as a family (the kids don't realise why we are here!) I don't think even I was aware how significant this was until I saw the peaks just now. Grateful today for some good family conversations and a gorgeous bivvy in the rain last night.
