Just wanted to use that title. Up town to get another iPhone replaced as this one won’t charge. They hand over another which is fine ... just a few hours of restoring and re-verifying banking apps.. then to redownload the downloads.
And a visitor - MikeyM through from the west to sit out with us and lunch. And meet the SK *trembles nervously* - and they hit of off fabulously! Out with said MM to play on the boat and even a quick trip out the harbour!
After, up town to see ‘The Greatest Play in the History of the World’ starring Julie Hesmondhalgh - I’d never ‘eard of ‘er. And no, it’s not. Very much not.
On to the Gilded Balloon to see Jack Docherty: Miekelson and McGlashan – Serious Men. Ha, effing terrific! Bringing up the number of Scotland’s top cops currently on gardening leave (true) he says, "imagine: full pay and sitting about doing nothing. Like firemen". I think the polis in the audience (several) liked that one.
