Postcard from St Andrews

A step to a local bakery (M&S food to go) for morning pastries and papers and a sit in the garden in the sunshine awhile. Quite a while.
On to some local sights - the castle, with its mine and counter-mine, the cathedral (up St Rule's tower) and down to the harbour for a sit with an ice cream. P is very keen I sail there and helpfully engaged the cafe owner who controls the lock gates to the inner harbour. Some people just don't get how much faster it is to drive. And how comfortable their gaff is rather than a cold wee cabin...
