Small Coppers

Today, I arranged a lengthy trip to Lochore Meadows Country
Park. Weather overcast, cooler and a bit breezy.

At first it seemed that I wouldn't see any butterflies, not least because the flower meadows had been mown.

Then I spotted a small copper feeding on sheep's bit and later amazed to discover THREE feeding on the same ragwort plant.

Whilst there, I also captured the image of a male linnet (rather poor as taken against the light).

My main blip is the three together - the rest are in the 'extras'.
