Cornflower

Not what I intended to blip, but the prettier image.  I've a soft spot for cornflowers - not entirely sure why but I've some vague memory of them being relevant when I was very young.  (Then again, most memories these days are a bit vague...)

The intended topic was the laden but bedraggled apple tree we'd recovered last year and is now overladen to the point of looking in need of support.  The other, newly-planted, apple tree was definitely in need of support which is what had brought me down to the lower garden in the first place.
