Distant rain

The sun was a rather strange looking orange blur as it set tonight; the rain showers across the hills gave a fuzzy edge to everything - rather apocalyptic!

Not done much in the way of useful jobs today. We played another mixed competition today and did fairly badly again. But at least we (just) avoided the sharp shower that blew through.

There's been quite a bit of rain here, mostly overnight, and the ground and plants are already perking up amazingly. I think we are due more overnight and then I'd like it to stop please until next Sunday ...
