Rays

Dad soaking up a few this afternoon, such a treat. In fact, he was out there dozing for at least a couple of hours! We started listening to the silence, punctuated by distant farm machinery, occasional curlew trills and oyster catcher peeps and little else, not even a breeze. Easy to nod off!

L went out for her own adventure today and 'we' (LH) took out more pineapple weed and then some more. Poppydog and I has a reasonably long walk for her, looking for some Shetland cattle that are apparently local; L has just bought three and was interested to hear there were some being kept nearby. Sadly, the beasts don't seem to be where we've always seen them (we think we've got the right ones!) but I had a good walk whilst finding out.

Otherwise I piddled around, mostly useful but silly little things not worth recording, and then found it was 4pm. Mishmash for supper (the week's leavings artfully thrown together) and quilting of the ongoing bag tonight.
