Our exotic visitor

This beautiful bird was first spotted in our garden last month and we were conviced he would not survive in our climate

With a bit of research we concluded that it was a white-cheeked Turaco, which can be found in the highlands of Ethiopia, south east Eritrea and Sudan.

To our great surprise he turned up today in our garden. He just loved the apples I had put out on the bird table.

We have tried to find out who he belonged to but with no success.
If you know of anyone in the Renfrewshire area aho has lost this bird please let me know.Thank you.
