Sunbeams

Trees

N and I drove to a storage unit to meet my brother and niece. We were sorting out the last few pieces of furniture to sell that belonged to our parents. As the years go by the associated sentimental feelings die back and it is easier to be more objective especially with the lack of available space at home. Afterwards we drove to The Saxon Inn in Childe Okeford for lunch. It was a glorious sunny autumnal day and as we drove towards East Coker on the way home I was struck by the sun setting behind the line of trees on the ridge. N didn't slow down so the photograph is a little blurred!
